Are you a young, creative changemaker who is passionate about overcoming divisions and bringing people together in online and real world communities?
DIGI Engage 2020: Bridging divides in isolation and beyond on June 25 & 26, a virtual event to inspire ideas, action and collaboration in the age of COVID-19 and beyond to counter hate and extremism.
The Digital Industry Group Inc (DIGI) is a non-profit organisation that advocates for digital services in Australia and works to ensure the Internet is a safe and respectful place, in collaboration with global tech leaders Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Verizon Media.
DIGI is teaming up with the Australian Government and some of the best minds from across the planet to bring the fourth iteration of DIGI Engage into the virtual space for 2020. Over two half days, participants will connect with the best experts in Australia and globally and other young Australians for inspiring conversations, skills-building workshops and issue deep dives, in order to collaborate on creative solutions to counter isolation, intolerance and hatred now and into the future.
In the midst of a global crisis, young people have a powerful role to play in bridging societal divisions and collaborating in meaningful and creative ways to stop the spread of hate and extremism.
